Recently appointed the Director of Music at Peachtree Road UMC in Atlanta, Georgia, James joined the amazing community there in September 2026. As Municipal Organist in Portland, Maine, since 2017, James performs throughout each season on the Kotzschmar Organ at Merrill Auditorium, please click here for their current schedule. James was appointed as Minister of Music to The Episcopal Church of St. Mary’s in Falmouth, Maine in 2023. James spent time building the St. Paul’s Choir School from 2019-2023. In NYC, he was most recently music director at St. Ignatius of Antioch and St. Mary the Virgin, Times Square. James has also been a frequent guest organist and conductor at Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, and Trinity Church, Wall Street in New York.
