Organ transcription of Experience, one of the most celebrated works by Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi. Originally released on his 2013 album In a Time Lapse, the piece has become an international phenomenon, its hypnotic repetition, soaring melodies, and inexorable rhythmic momentum captivating audiences far beyond the traditional classical music world.

Although conceived for piano and strings, Experience lends itself remarkably well to the organ. Its gradually unfolding textures, sustained harmonies, and extraordinary cumulative power offer wonderful opportunities to exploit the instrument's expressive and orchestral possibilities. This transcription seeks to preserve the intimacy of Einaudi's opening gestures while building towards the thrilling, almost overwhelming climax of the original.

As with any transcription, the performer is encouraged to explore the colors and resources of their own instrument. The music is particularly effective on organs with a broad dynamic range and expressive divisions, although it can be adapted to a wide variety of instruments.
