Kennerley: Christus factus est (SATB a cappella)

$3.50

James Kennerley’s a cappella setting of the Latin text, Christus factus est. This hymn is set as the Gradual for Palm Sunday, Exultation of the Holy Cross, Maundy Thursday & Good Friday. I composed this modest version (in contrast to, say, the grand setting by Bruckner) for the Holy Week liturgies at Saint Mary the Virgin (“Smokey Mary’s”) in New York City’s Times Square in 2011, where I was also Organist & Music Director.
